United Disaster Response became a vision in 2019 when a small town in Southeast Missouri was hit with 60+ MPH winds and was overlooked by most aid groups. The founder gathered a group of volunteers and a construction company to volunteer time and help with cleanup efforts that lasted approximately a week. After years of preparation and learning from others, United Disaster Response became an Organization in 2021. Our leadership team is made up of 3 individuals that have a combined experience of over 13 years in helping manage Non-Governmental Organizations and over 28 combined years in the military and first responder organizations/agencies.
UDR now has a supply cache in Missouri to be self-sufficient for 2+ weeks at a time, including generators, a solar-powered mobile command unit, all the tools, and supplies to get the jobs done. We are currently serving in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennesee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Please go to Volunteer Now to sign up and join our growing network of volunteers and learn more about the rewarding task of volunteering. We accept people from all over the United States, we want to expand everywhere and help as many people as we can.
